Talcher Fertilizers Limited (TFL), a joint venture company of GAIL (India) Limited, Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited (RCFL), Coal India Limited (CIL) and Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited (FCIL) has been formed in the year 2015 for setting up a Coal Gasification based Fertilizer Plant of the capacity of 12.7 Lakh MT per year of urea at the site of the closed FCIL plant unit at Talcher, Angul district, Odisha.
