Age Limit

  • Ex-serviceman: Number of years of service rendered in defense services

Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the OSSC CGL Exam, candidates must meet specific educational qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree: In any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Odia Language Proficiency: Pass in M.E. School Examination with Odia as a language subject or completion of HSE exam from an Odia medium school. Alternatively, passing a test in Odia at the M.E. School standard conducted by the Odisha Education Department.
  • Computer Proficiency: Candidates should have proficiency in computer skills, and possessing a certificate in computer basics from PGDCA is acceptable.

Nationality

Candidates must be Indian citizens, and any discrepancies regarding citizenship status will be resolved based on the department’s decision.
