The Indian Railways network is extensive, covering over 67,000 route kilometers and serving thousands of stations across the country. It is divided into several zones, each of which is further divided into divisions.
Services:
Indian Railways offers various types of services, including passenger trains, express trains, superfast trains, and luxury trains like the Palace on Wheels. These services cater to different travel needs, from regular commuting to long-distance travel.
Technological Advancements:

Some trains, like the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway and the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Additionally, luxury tourist trains like the Maharajas’ Express offer a unique way to explore India’s cultural and historical sites.
Safety and Security:
Ensuring the safety of passengers and railway assets is a top priority. The system has undergone improvements in terms of safety measures, including the implementation of modern signaling and communication systems.
