Repco Micro Finance Limited (RMFL) was founded in 2007 as Repco MSME Development & Finance Ltd and registered as a non-banking finance company (NBFC) with the Reserve Bank of India in 2010. In December 2013, it was reclassified as an NBFC-MFI. Repatriates Cooperative Finance & Development Bank Ltd. (Repco Bank), a Govt. of India Enterprise, is the company’s promoter. RMFL is in the business of giving loans to economically disadvantaged women through Women Self Help Groups for the aim of generating revenue.
