Duties & Responsibilities of Sales Executives

  • Field visit to generate customer enquiries
  • Generate inquiries
  • Follow up with clients
  • Close deals
  • Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; inspecting automobiles.
  • Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
  • Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer’s requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
  • Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collects payment; delivers automobile.
  • Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Duties & Responsibilities of Team Leader

  • Trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of team.
  • Directs and schedules the activities of team members.
  • Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system.
  • Helps sales executive to close deals when necessary.
  • Communicates with team members to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
  • Forecasts aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual team members and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
  • Ensures team members maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.
  • Contacts new owners within 24 hours of delivery to ensure complete satisfaction with sales and delivery process. Addresses any concerns or complaints immediately.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with state and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
