Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS)
- The Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) is an initiative of Odisha Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik, who is concerned about school education.
- OAVS provides free quality Education in English to children from all around the state, with a focus on students from semi-urban and rural areas.
- Apart from academic excellence, the Adarsha Vidyalaya aspires to foster rural talents by instilling 21st century learning skills through a holistic and integral approach to their physical and aesthetic development.
- This type of school has been established in the Block Headquarter in each of Odisha’s 314 Blocks and serves students in grades VI through XII. The Adarsha Vidyalayas will play an important role in extending modern education to outlying areas of the state, while also integrating students from other schools.
Duties and responsibilities of Contractual Teachers:
- Teacher appointed on contractual basis will discharge following duties
- Regular classroom activity/copy checking
- Invigilation duty/Evaluation work.
- Helping students and colleagues in preparation and organization of different
curricular/ Co-curricular activities in the Vidyalaya. - Any other works assigned by the Principal.
